Dreamweaver Bootstrap Show and Hide Elements

Dreamweaver Bootstrap Show and Hide Elements

Dreamweaver Bootstrap Show and Hide Elements is essential in your tool box.  Now we are getting into the more fun and creative parts of Web Design. In this video, “Dreamweaver Bootstrap Show and Hide Elements,” we share with you how to show, or hide any web element, any where, anytime you want to. With  Show and Hide Elements, if you want people to see a slideshow on the desktop, then fine. For the iPhone, maybe you just want to show a small image. With  Dreamweaver Bootstrap Show and Hide ElementsShow and Hide Elements if you want to have a full menu across the top of the page on the desktop, but show a side navigation bar on the table, then fine. With  Show and Hide Elements, it all up to you. You are in total control of you page.

For those of you that are familiar with CSS and CSS3, then the concept of  Show and Hide Elements is extremely similar to “display:block;, display:none;.” I love display block, display none. I’m a big Flash fan. I still use flash all of the time, but I only show it on the desktop or on the laptop. On smaller devices I show slideshows or animated gifs.

Comparing display block, display none to  Show and Hide Elements, I think that Dreamweaver Bootstrap Show and Hide Elements is a bit easier. You will see in the video that I get a little bit confused when I look at the code, but there is a lot going on to get this done.

With  Show and Hide Elements, you can make decisions about what shows up for each and every screen size. Of course you have large, medium, small, and extra small. So you can show an element in large view, then hide it in medium view, then show it in extra small view. It’s a vast decision making matrix, but I think it’s way more simple that display block and display none.

I think that I think it’s more simple because you are making the decision right in the html as opposed to the CSS style sheet.
